While the 'My Desk' feature was initially designed for linear workflows, it is being requested that this feature can work with non-linear jobs like Audits or Consulting work. The request is to have multiple staff as 'Current' on a job at the same time. The job would then show up on all of the staff's 'My Desk' if they are part of the 'Current' group. Associating a Task with the Forwarding function would be one way to separate out the work each Staff is expected to do.

Current Staff is the person responsible for that element of the work including making sure any other people working on it are working on it
Hi Michelle, your definition sounds like a Manager rather than Current staff. As a user, I would like to manage how many jobs are on the staff desk at a time. Sally Sample is an Audit staff, she involves in 4 audit jobs at a time but so does her teammate Joe Smith. Because PE only assigns 1 staff at a time, Joe has none active jobs on his desk but in fact he has 4 jobs....
If PE could be modified to assign a job to more than 1 staff it would be super helpful
