Change workflow status of multiple jobs

We would like to see a more efficient means by which we can change the workflow status of multiple jobs.  We have used batches but it isn't ideal

  Hi Denise,

  If you could provide some case studies or examples of what you are trying to do, we could give some guidance on better methodologies to accomplish the task.

  Hi Brad,

  This was just a general enhancement suggestion.  Overall, our staff has found that using the batching function isn't ideal, or necessarily efficient.

  Hi Brad,

  Following up Denise idea above, we have 1,000 jobs of personal tax returns. By the end of the working day, 200 have been e-filed and ready to invoice. The current way of batch is I need to see which one in that list of 1,000 jobs are in my list of 200 completed and then add it to batch. Is there a better way to do it?
