It would be nice if the WIP Recalc tool would give us the ability to recalculate WIP on a per level basis, whether that's on a job, client or staff member.

Michelle Harris Hi Phill,
I am not sure how this would work - the WIP recalc tool works on staff charge rate changes. The only level where a different charge rate per staff member is used is the job otherwise the WIP recalc tool will always look at the charge rate for the staff member.
Am I missing the point?

Phill Breitbach That makes sense to a point.
So let me pose the question as to what we are looking to do. We perform work for people in the firm, and they were able to write off that time to the firm, but now that is not possible. So instead of messing with the realization of the employee that is doing the work, we have created two new charge-bands. We are wondering how we can recalculate the legacy WIP and any current WIP so that it looks at the new charge band on the Client.
