It would be nice if there was a way to mark certain clients as "private" so that only the people assigned to that client and system admins can see it in the client search listing. We have quite a few high profile clients who would like us to limit who knows they are our clients to their actual engagement teams.

The best way of doing this is to use the Department level security. If you set up a department called Private and attach those clients that need to be hidden to that department, only staff with permission to access the Private department will be able to find those clients through the client search.

Stacy Mendenhall Hi Michelle - that actually won't work in our case because each client has a different team that works on them so we would end up with almost every employee in that group which defeats the purpose, plus they would see all the other private clients. We would like it if you could only see them in the client listing if you're assigned - just like we can limit who can enter time to a client to only those who are assigned.
