I frequently get requests to modify workflow statuses (e.g., add new status or change the order) and I find the processes to modify clunky. For example, today I got a request to insert 3 new statuses into the middle of a workflow. There are 10 statuses after the 3 new ones I am adding so I need to go into each of those and change the order for each one. When I click save after changing the order on one status the Categories screen refreshes so I now need to search again for the proper workflow to edit and remember which step I need to update. If the screen did not refresh it would make the process a lot more efficient. An even better solution would be the ability to insert a step in the middle without having to manually change the order on every step after it.

Steven L. Hart I just had to re-order three different services and it was extremely tedious and difficult. I did change the numbering on my existing options to make it easier (separating them by 1, 10 , 20 , 30 etc) so that I could use the numbers in between in the future, but there has to be an easier way.
also, note - you can only go up to 250.

Tiffany Roussel I agree! I had to add a status to the beginning of the list (position 1) for many service lines. Took me quite a long time to do. I tried to get clever by separating them like Steven said above but I made the mistake of doing it by 100s and it didn't work out well so I resorted back.
