When users do not have permission to approve timesheets or expenses, the expectation is the option would not even be an option for individual users to turn on or off at a Global Permissions level, instead of individual user preference.

Michelle Harris Can I clarify please - so if users don't have permissions to Aprrove timesheets and expenses then the dashlet options shouldn't show the option to show outstanding approvals?

Linda Johnson For an upgrading client, this doesn't seem to be the case. Let me test in another database to see if this is the case.

Michelle Stutz This was an issue for us after our upgrade. Users without permissions to approve expenses were by default seeing the "For Approval" line on their Timesheet dashlet. While it didn't take them to other staff's expenses, it was very confusing to the users because it appeared as though there is action needed by them. There was no way for me as a PE Admin to make a global change to remove that from their dashlet.
